Philip King
Phil has 12 years’ experience in Shared Services in industry and consulting and is Head of the Shared Services Solution for Atos Origin. A former Finance Director and FCMA, Phil has deep knowledge of what it takes to make Shared Services a success and his recommendations and skills in implementation have driven successful SSCs for our clients across Europe and globally. Working in close partnership with clients such as Reuters, Phil has also acted as interim Director for new SSCs to ensure their smooth introduction and operations, including experience in Amsterdam and Budapest. Recently he has been involved in evaluation of SSC options for clients including comparisons of outsourcing and offshoring.

The Atos Origin Shared Services team have all been recruited with experience in delivering shared services in industry. Each Consultant works as a mentor to project groups as well as seamlessly integrating with client teams.

Philip King

Michael Thomas

With over 30 years’ experience in Financial Management, and having set up a Shared Services programme for the world’s largest chemical company, Mike brings a wealth of experience to every project, public or private, UK or International. Implementing and running Shared Services for the NHS in England, designing programmes for Kimberley Clark and Shell, and running successful optimisation projects for AstraZeneca are amongst Mike’s recent achievements. Mike is now Head of the Business Process Management solution for Atos Consulting and develops state-of-the-art solutions for process optimisation in Finance.

Pauline Leong

Following 12 years in Financial Management and Accounting roles in industry, Pauline joined the Atos Consulting team and has worked with clients including Unilever, the BBC, Nestlé Purina, Johnson Controls Inc, Hasbros, AstraZeneca, and McAlpine Business Services on Shared Services engagements. Leading projects in strategy review, programme management and improvement programmes, as well as managing the design and deployment of pan-European SSCs, Pauline’s experience and reputation are exceptional.

Alec Percival

Alec recently led an exemplary pan-European SSC implementation for Symbol Technologies, managing the whole design and implementation, from site management to staff recruitment, rolling out each country in phase one and ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance in record time. Alec has previously led reviews, developed business cases and been key in implementation and strategic planning for SSC projects at the NHS, Unilever and GSK.

David Billingham

David is Associate Partner in the People and Change team at Atos Consulting. Having worked for a number of organisations in the public and private sectors including Abbey, Britannic Assurance, Birmingham Midshires and Cadbury Schweppes, David brings a wealth of experience in delivering major transformational projects. He has recently designed and led an offshoring feasibility assessment for the Abbey HR function and supported GM UK on migration of HR activity to Barcelona HRSS.
